Born in Saudi Arabia, 1979, Sue currently lives in Los Angeles. She is currently teaching as an Instructor in Drawing at UCLA Extension and has previously taught as a Lecturer in Drawing at UCLA. She is also currently working as an artist assistant in painting and developing new work in her own studio. Her recent solo and collaborative works have been presented at the Greater LA MFA exhibition in Long Beach, Nevin Kelly Gallery in Washington DC, 300m3 in Gothenburg, and ITP NYU in New York. She holds an MFA from UCLA Design | Media Arts, and is a graduate of Georgetown University's Walsh School of Foreign Service and Phillips Exeter Academy. She has also studied previously at Chalmers University in Sweden and Waseda University in Japan. She was a recipient of the Edna and Yu-Shan Han Endowed Award for her MFA studies and of the Beall Center Artist Honorarium.
